Street Sweeping Underway

Street sweepers are moving through the wards in the following order: 2,1,7,6,5,4,3, with Ward 1 already completed. It will take longer than usual this year due to overtime cutbacks.

Rain Barrel & Compost Bins

The deadline for ordering rain barrels and compost bins is Thursday, June 18th. Forms can be downloaded from our website and submitted at the DPW Offices on Locust St.

Water Main Break

A large water main break near Damon Rd. has been repaired but may
briefly affect water quality in that area of the City.

Hatfield Street

Hatfield St. is getting a new sidewalk from Locust St to Bridge Rd. It
is restricted to local traffic through the expected completion date of
June 26th.

High-tech Crosswalk Installed

A new solar-powered crosswalk warning system has been installed at the corner of State and Center Streets. This is a Traffic Mitigation project funded by a local developer; watch video at ABC40
