Weather permitting, construction repair work at the North Main Street and Bridge Road intersection (Route 9 Roundabout) is scheduled to begin on April 16, 2012 and is expected to last approximately two weeks.
E,T & L, the Contractor hired by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, will be fixing the inner circle that adds turning space for large trucks (or truck apron).
Cape Cod berm will replace the granite perimeter of the inner circle, and two feet of pavement will be installed on each side of the berm to replace the cracked surface.
The single traffic lane will be open during construction but traffic delays may occur at times.
